Design Concept
Harvey Nichols Restaurants' iconic OXO Tower Bar received the Shaun Clarkson ID treatment with a stunning art deco influenced design scheme; it’s a stylish, thoroughly contemporary space with a slight trace of the industrial, ensuring the bar’s chic memorability.
The interior encapsulates some of the original design elements from the Restaurant and Brasserie, retaining a feel of a classic cruise liner, whilst simultaneously introducing some exceptionally modern hints. A luxury drinking and dining destination, the space is striking, complementing rather than distracting from the mind-blowing views of London.
With its unique curved white bar, balcony area and covetable tables by the gaping angular glass wall, presiding high over the river Thames, the OXO Tower Cocktail Bar is a truly celebrated design project.
Enjoy an evening in the South Bank bar illuminated in warm lighting with blue and red hues, draped in white linens and housing sleek leather chairs. Bright metallic stools contrast plush, light mustard coloured armchairs, lined with black, whilst an open-shutter ceiling provides an unusual overhead feature.
Basic monochrome is challenged by hard, shiny metal, vibrant floral blooms and a dark wooden floor. Take in the bold elegance, the clean lines, stark colour with the softer touch of flower arrangements, and sophistication, which combines to create the wonderful Shaun Clarkson ID designed OXO Tower.
